Right now on Modbe's website swim tops are only $25. I know a lot of people were sad about missing the sale last week so now's your chance to grab one before the one you want is gone.

New Spring Items and Free shipping
Modbe has released their new Spring items. And I'm loving the versatility of each of these pieces. The dress, which can be worn as a skirt or a dress, is great fabric and the hem is left undone for you to decide what length you want it to be. It's the perfect material that looks great dressed up and casual enough to wear over any swim suit while lounging at the pool. The board shorts are going to be my summer go to. They are light weight to beat the heat and super cute. They are a great length and fit really well. Right Now enjoy FREE shipping on orders over $35 (be sure to select it in the shipping options, it's not automatic). You can still enjoy the 10% off with the party code in the side bar of my blog.

Shoes
So I am in love with these shoes I found on a new clothing website I was browsing but *sigh* they don't have my size, of course. There are some really cute things though. I am really wanting a new summer wardrobe if summer ever decides to come.

Schedule
So I was talking to my friend Beverly yesterday and saw her calender. Crazy! I'm really bad at appointment calenders like palm and everything for the fact that I feel claustrophobic. I have a calender that I write down main appointments and stuff like that but I don't have each time blocked out. I told her I wouldn't even want to get out of bed in the morning if I had to look at that kind of calender. I decided this afternoon to play around with my palm and just see what my week would look like. Yeah lets just say I don't plan on scheduling myself like that anytime soon. Crazy! Do you schedule everything out or just main events?

Balancing
This semester for whatever reason has been so much harder for me to balance. It's weird because I'm taking less than half the credits I usually do. I don't know if it's because I'm so burned out with school and I really just feel like I should be done by now or if it's because this is my first semester back in traditional classes as opposed to online classes. Everyone I talk to talks about how hard online classes are for them and how much more time they take. That's not the case for me. I'm an independent learner. I do better sitting down and figuring things out for myself. So when I have to attend class its just wasted time because I still have to go home and do my own thing.
My problem is when I feel like I have a ton to do it's so hard for me to get anything done. Not because there is a lack of things to do (my laundry room and kitchen will amen to that) I just have a hard time trying decide where to start so I end up doing really random things. So this week my goal is to de junk and spring clean my house. Jeff and I are both sick of searching for missing things. I have stuff it's not just crap stuff but it doesn't have a home in our little house. We are in the process of cleaning out our basement so we can demo it and finish it which accounts for some of the additional stuff in our family room and dining room. So any organizational tips that are functional are greatly appreciated. I don't have a lot of room to work with.
Also seriously how do people store their stuff like baby blankets, baby clothes for future babies, and all that stuff. I go into all my friends homes and they have finished basements and none of that stuff is in sight. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one that keeps that stuff or if everyone elses house has a magic hiding room for all their stuff.

Modbe Swim!
Well things have been crazy busy around here as you can probably tell by my lack of posting. Last weekend Modbe released their 2009 Swim! I had my suit picked out from the moment I saw it.
I love it! But now that I have tried on all the other styles I want them too. :)
Here are a few of the great things this swim line has to offer
*Power Mesh lining~ smooths and holds in any problem areas (who doesn't love that!)
* Underwire in select styles~ I wasn't sure how a underwire would feel in a swim suit but I love it!
*Cute tops and bottoms to mix and match to create your perfect suit that matches your personality.
Some cute combos I've seen are the tie dye with the eggplant bottoms, the black
polka dot flounce with the pink polka dot bottoms, the pink knot top with the eggplant bottoms.
Plus a lot of the tops match bottoms last year which will help in your mixing and matching.
Right now the code for 10% off your order of 3 or more items is 1386. Just enter it in where it asks for the party number after your credit card information. Let me know if you have any questions. Stay tuned for an announcement of a giveaway!

Proud
So in the first week of school each semester every teacher for some odd reason thinks it's a wonderful idea to do a getting to know you exercise. I HATE them. I don't know what it is, maybe the fact that I'm in college and not 3rd grade. Both of my classes this semester so far have had them. One of the questionnaires has got me thinking though. The last question we had to ask the person we were "getting to know" was, what is an accomplishment in your life that you are most proud of? That question was hard for me. It's not that I haven't accomplished anything but it's being proud of myself for doing it. I didn't feel anything I had could compete with what I have seen other people do. I realized it's very hard to come up with something you are proud of yourself for. I could list a million things I am proud of other people for. I'm proud of my little boy and the talk he gave in primary two weeks ago and how he loves to sing. I'm proud of my dad and what a great example he is to me. I'm proud of Jeff for working hard for our family. I'm proud of my baby sister living so far away from home and being her own strong person. So why is it so hard for me to come up with something I have done in my life that I am proud of. I think it's because I hold myself to a higher standard. I expect more from myself and with that I think I should be doing more than I am. I sat in that room trying to think of some grand thing like going on a medical mission or saving a child from falling from a building. While those things are great my goal is to be proud of the things I can and do accomplish.
So here is what I have come up with after thinking about this for a few days
I'm proud that I am going to school and a mom of two children and that I balance the two very well MOST days.
I'm proud that I kept the promise to myself and married my husband in the temple for time and all eternity.
I'm proud that I accepted my most feared calling at church and teach Relief Society. While I probably learn more than I teach it is an accomplishment that I have grown from.
I'm proud that Jeff and I saved and bought our last vehicle with cash.
I'm proud of myself for learning to cook and enjoying it. (It's not something I could/wanted to do when I was younger)
I'm proud of myself for never tasting drugs or alcohol.
I hope to be able to add to this list graduating school. That is by far the hardest thing I will have done to this point in my life and at that point I will be very proud that I stuck with it and finished. Hopefully that comes sooner than later.

Crazy Busy
Wow! I wish I knew where that winter break just went. I feel like I didn't get anything done that I needed to but was busy the whole time. I did spend some much needed time with my kids. It was fun staying in our jammies all day and just playing games and reading books. This week has flown by with stuff every night. I spent all day yesterday trying to figure out what to do for school and classes and as everyone kept reminding me classes start next Monday and I hadn't registered at all yet. Needless to say yesterday was quite stressful and productive all at the same time. I had Bunco last night then tonight I have my scrapbooking class I go to once a month. Tomorrow and Saturday I am helping out at a Modbe Warehouse sale here in Idaho (if you are local and want more info let me know). Then classes start Monday. I'm only taking 7 credits this semester so hopefully it won't be too bad. I'm actually very excited for this semester. My to do list is growing by the minute so I will try to be back with photo updates and more later!
